I’m in two minds about the anonymity thing. There is a part of me that thinks a person should say what is said and be upfornt about it. On the other hand, anonymity allows a freedom to express views which may be difficult within a coterie, and the distance lent by anonymity will therefore drive a higher level of truth.

Tarkington is mortified. Since when does Thought for the Day have anything to do with truth? Come to think of it, is truth the objective of a blog?
I think it will take about three posts to work exactly who all the anonymous blogs are by. I challenge our wise masters.
